3 Halloween Themed Snacks Idea for Kids

Halloween is quickly approaching and kids are already in the mood for celebration. If you are planning to host a kids’ party on Halloween then make it more fun for them and serve these super delicious Halloween-themed snacks to your cute little guests.

Here Preschool teachers have shared some cutely spooky and super tasty snacks recipes that you can prepare easily for your kids.

Halloween Candy Corn Popcorn Hands: Believe it or not! Your kids will definitely fall in love with these super cute popcorn hands. While preparing this, you can even ask your little ones to share their hands. These Halloween Popcorn Hands are a fun and easy treat to make with the little ones.


  • Disposable gloves
  • Candy corn
  • Popcorn
  • Twine or ribbon
  • Spider rings


  • Drop candy corn in each of the fingers of the disposable gloves.
  • Then, fill the gloves with popcorn and make sure each finger gets stuffed with enough popcorn.
  • Now tie the top portion of the gloves with the twine or ribbon.
  • Ask your kids to add spider rings to the fingers of the gloves.

Spider Avocado Deviled Eggs: In San Marino, CA playschools kids love Halloween as they dressed up as their favorite spooky characters, get candies, go to costume parties. It has all the ingredients for grand celebrations. To match up with this mood, you need to think of some food that would go well with the celebration.   • Hard-boiled eggs — 6
  • California avocado — ¼th cup (diced)
  • Salt — ½ tsp
  • Dry mustard — ¼th tsp
  • Pepper — ½ tsp
  • Light mayonnaise — 1 tsp
  • Black olives


  • Cut each egg in half. Put the egg yolk in a food processor and add avocado, salt mustard, pepper, and mayonnaise to it. Blend well to get a creamy mixture.
  • Fill the eggs with this avocado mixture.
  • Then, slice olives in half lengthwise. Place them on top of the avocado mixture for the spider body.
  • Now slice some more olives in half lengthwise and further slice them into small slivers for the legs of the spider.
  • Your spider avocado egg is ready to be gobbled up.

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Ghosts: These chocolate-covered strawberry ghosts will be a great hit at your Halloween party. They look so cute and spooky and are so easy to make. Preschool kids would gobble these ghosts in minutes.


  • Strawberries
  • White chocolate
  • Candy eyes
  • Wax or parchment paper


  • First, melt the white chocolate and dip the strawberries one at a time in the melted chocolate.
  • While dipping, drag out some of the chocolate on the bottom of the strawberries to make a ghost tail.
  • Place these strawberries on parchment paper and place the candy eyes on the front portion of the strawberries.
  • Repeat the same process to get the desired quantity.
  • You can keep it in the fridge for some time and then serve.
